Position: Solaris + AIX/HPUX Consultant

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6 Months

 

JD:

Basic

·        Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.

·        At least  6 years  of experience with Solaris

Preferred

·        At least 6 years of experience in in Sun Solaris environment.

·        Knowledge of server installation and recovery, LVM concepts, backups, network concepts-NIS, NFS, TCPIP, routing.

·        Experience in LVM And Clusters

·        Strong in troubleshooting H/W and Operating System issue.

·        Configuration and Management of Sun and Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File system and VCS.

·        At least 6 years of experience in administration of AIX or HP-UX

·        In AIX the experience should be in administration of AIX virtualization environment.

·        Configuring and administration of LPAR, DLPAR, HMC, etc for Critical production and Pre- Production Servers in virtual environment

·        Provides support for LVM, Maintaining OS backup, Technology level up gradation, LUN Assignment

·        Experience on AIX 6.x, AIX 5.2 & AIX 5.3.

·        Experience in LVM And Clusters

·        Knowledge of server installation and recovery, LVM concepts, backups, network concepts-NIS, NFS, TCPIP, routing.

·        Knowledge on HACMP and logical partitioning desirable

·        Administer Data center with 24* 7 support for Unix (AIX) Boxes with HACMP Clusters. Installation, Configuration, Performance monitoring in production servers.

·        In HP-UX, sound knowledge of HP-UX 10.x, 11.x Operating systems

·        Should have knowledge in clustering and backup management in HP-UX environment.

·         HP Mirrordisk/UX.

·        Hands on experience in HP OnlineJFS

·        HP Virtual Partition and recovery

·        Understanding of NAS and SAN Storage.

·        Programming expertise: (Perl -- Python -- Ruby) & Shell) Scripting experience.

·        Exposure to Administration of DNS, DHCP and BIND is a desirable skill

·        To participate & Work with Local & Global team.

·        Good analytical, communication, planning, project management, and co-ordination skills
