Job Title: MVC/ .Net Developer

Location: Cary, NC 27518

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Rate: $45/HR Max on C2C

 

Need local candidates who can for F2F interview.

 

Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, and debug programs of varying levels of complexity.

Analyse user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design and potential impact while cognizant of time and cost constraints.

Performs implementation and integration tasks for medium to large, complex in-house developed or purchased software solutions.

Complex application problem identification and resolution.

Assist customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts.

 

Required Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently on complex issues.

Ability to work with diverse team members to build a cohesive team.

Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

 

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent engineering discipline required.

See critical technical skills for specific application development experience.

5+ years developing ASP Web / MVC / web services solutions.

Proficient in object oriented languages such as C# 5-7 years' development experience required.  

Developer at a Mid-Senior Level.

 

Typical Day:

Typical hours of 8am - 4:30pm (Core Hours 10am-3pm). Hours are flexible as long as candidate puts in 40 hours per week.

The candidate will mostly be working in a desk environment with some meetings to attend to.

The candidate will also be able to work from home at certain times of the week (depending on the week, usually Mondays and Fridays).

 

Technical Skills:

5+ years developing MVC / web services solutions Proficient in C#, Entity Framework, HTML5, CSS JavaScript, Responsive Web Design, REST API, SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016. Also desired: SharePoint development experience.

 

Soft Skills:

Ability to work in a small team environment. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Willingness to be involved in all aspects of software development.
