Job Title: Infrasructure- Data Modeler III
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6+ Months
Senior Data Engineer
6+ Years of professional experience with at least 4 years as Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer.
Must be Expert in:
• Expert level knowledge and experience using Python for Big Data
• Expert solution provider in 4 Vs of Big Data using Python
• Must have practical experience in ETL in a big data environment
• Expert understanding of Hadoop/Spark Platforms and ability to configure and optimize clusters on demand
• Ability to design Hadoop cluster technical specification and document processes
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, relational and multidimensional models and NoSQL
• Experienced in working with Enterprise Big Data Platforms
• Has built various data pipelines using Python
• Experienced in choosing streaming vs batch solutions and developing prototypes/production ready systems
• Expertise in designing High Volume, Low Latency Systems for faster Data Accessibility/Availability
• Advanced knowledge of Big Data Structures, Data Frames, In Memory Processing
• Advanced knowledge of multiprocessing and multi-threading
Well Experienced in:
• Working knowledge of Big Data Technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Sqoop, Hive, Pig, Beeline, Hbase, Elastic Search etc
• Ability to work with analysts to identify and understand requirements and source data systems
• Version control
• PyData, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy
• Team Player, effective communicator
• Ability and readiness to quickly learn new technologies
• Ability to Multi Task
