Description:

The User Experience Designer helps define design, layout, controls, and navigation for global functional business area software. 

Responsible to create design deliverables such as wireframes, site maps, process maps, feature lists, mockups, UI specifications, working prototypes and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience.  The UX Designer works with Scrum teams to develop supporting materials and insure that requirements clearly define the user experience and interaction functionality.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide detailed annotations to wireframes that provide interaction and flow.
• Determine Scenarios and Use Cases that cover customer behavior and expectations as well edge case conditions.
• Work across multiple markets and business functions
• Participate in associate research, usability testing, and review of analytics to analyze associate behavior. 
• Analyze data, including usability research findings, associate feedback and site metrics to better understand user audience and create better designs.
• Work closely with CS&E and technical teams to understand business needs and goals, refine strategy, features, and content.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of functional business area software.
• Capable of delivering large and small scale UX designs that meet business needs, timelines, scope and deliverables.
• Communicate and defend user centered design principles to maintain a quality design solution in a mature, cooperative and productive manner.
• Organize and present design recommendations to team and departments to help educate and inform staff of User Experience best practices, and standards.
• Work with the Digital User Experience and Design team to stay informed and aligned with their approach to design, tools used, methodology, and style guides.
• Ability to write technically for developers and business team audiences
• Expertise in competitive UX solutions and best practices across a range of devices and technologies.  Ability to judge the relative size of competing solutions.
• Ensure business requirements and wire frame mockups documents meet emerging user experience and best practice standards.
• Page layout experience with clear understanding of balance, content priority, consistency and text readability
• Well versed in user centered design practices and strong knowledge of web, mobile and rising technology best practices
