QA Automation Tester with E commerce -- NY -- 6+ Months

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

We are looking for a talented Senior QA Automation Test Engineer who will be involved in all aspects of software engineering testing as well as hands on automation development, especially geared towards Agile engineering and automation practices. This candidate must have strong java and Selenium WebDriver experience.

 Additional responsibilities include:

 

• Prepare test scenarios based on business requirements and create various test cases
• Manually execute the test scenarios/cases. Perform a series of tests and log any fix tasks and/or defects that are encountered in Version One
• Work parallel with Development team and participate in the Agile process
• Properly communicate estimates, tasks and status to the team and management
• Document estimates and burn down hours in Version One
• Create, execute and maintain test scripts using java within automation framework
• Provide suggestions to QA Lead/Manager to improve all manual and automation test processes

 

Required Skills/Experience:

 

 At least 10 years of Quality Assurance (QA) testing experience

• Automation experience is a must, Selenium WebDriver required
• Must have strong ability to script in java
• Must have experience testing web services
• Must have excellent SQL skills for backend testing
• Experience setting up automation framework a plus
• Must have experience with Agile/Scrum
• Must have the ability to work independently
