Rate is $45.00 per hour W2
Position Scope
Applicant will be an integral member of the support team and must be able to take direction, take initiative, follow procedures, and work independently as required.
Applicant must provide 24 X 7 on-call support and be willing to work off-hours as required.
Limited travel will be required between regional offices.
Required Skills
Applicant should possess the general conceptual understandings of SCADA systems.
Applicant should possess general knowledge of various cyber security practices including anti-virus endpoint protection tools, firewalls, Network Access Control, Network Intrusion Prevention, and vulnerability assessments.
Applicant must possess strong oral and written communication skills; ability to maintain configuration documents, processes, diagrams and develop new procedures.
Strong Linux server and workstation administration experience is necessary, including experience with patching, Spacewalk, IPA, and scripting.
Applicant must be able to assess patches around CVEs and follow strict guidelines around patch lifecycle from assessment to final implementation and documentation.
Applicant must understand and be willing to follow all critical regulations pertaining to NERC Cyber Information Protection (CIP) guidelines.
Applicant must have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Visio and the ability to create and update technical diagrams.
Applicant must have demonstrated experience with creating and maintain technical documentation
Applicant must be able to function in a highly secured area and follow tightly regulated processes and procedures.
Applicant must perform duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Previous NERC-CIP compliance experience is preferred.
Oracle Linux administration
Red Hat Satellite or Spacewalk experience
Willingness and ability to carry cell phone
Willingness and ability to work flex time
Requirement for occasional travel
Software installation and desktop support experience
