Big Data Test Engineer with Automated Testing, Java background
Looking for talented software engineer, to deliver continuous improvement, test methodologies for distributed software, and customer focus.
Job Description:
- Lead/contribute to QA/Testing efforts from planning and organization to execution and for data quality and supporting development teams.
- Design and build advanced automated QA/testing framework, tools and automated test suites(Example:- Python (pytest), Shell, Java (TestNG/JUnit))
- Should have hands-on SQL writing skills, good understanding on Scala code & Java; worked in Big data QA/testing teams in past.
- Understanding on test a variety of open source big data technologies in order to offer a centralized tool.
- Good knowledge of test methodologies, creating test cases and test plans.
- Any knowledge in Hospitality Domain is big Plus.
- Define the optimum suites for sanity, regression, smoke, deployment verification etc., and advanced aspects of system testing(automation is plus).
- 5-15 year's experience in test development, automation tools development.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
-Team members will be working from McLean office.
