Location: Austin,TX

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

• Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data in Tableau
• Work directly with business units to define and create Tableau reports and dashboards
• Design, develop, and test Tableau scripts to import data from source systems and test Tableau dashboards to meet customer requirements
• Experience leveraging stored procedures and functions within a DW environment
• Configure data security at row and table level

Analysis:

• Ability to analyze data and determine/implement data enrichment or aggregation needs
• Create clear visualizations of specific data as required and provide feedback of the best approach to visualize the request
• Ability to develop complex[1] Tableau dashboards from multiple data sources; including data from live database connections and Tableau data extracts
• Experience writing complex queries for data visualization
• Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems data)
• Support Activities to document, evolve, and communicate artifacts developed using Tableau
• Extract, transform and present data from multiple sources into Tableau applications

Presentation:

• Strong experience in design and development of visualizations and dashboards using Tableau
• Ability to explain the meaning and limitations of information in a specific report or dashboard
• Develops and provides documentation, training, and support for users at different levels of understanding and interaction with Tableau
