Description	Our client is a rapidly growing small business that specializes in building strong Engineering teams that provide high quality, modern technical solutions to our clients, is seeking a C# Software Engineer who: ·         Applies strong expertise in software development ·         Solves complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity ·         Performs work with little need for direct supervision ·         Collaborates with front-end developers, database team and testers ·         Makes sound decisions that achieve critical organizational objectives
Required Qualifications	·         Experience building RESTful APIs and/or web services used for data collection ·         Integrate software features, systems, COTS across an established enterprise domain ·         Experience with the infrastructure for serving the back-end apps and assets ·         Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system ·         Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components ·         Translate requirements, user scenarios, and technical constraints into fully developed and tested software ·         Troubleshoot and debug deployed applications in a live production environment ·         Demonstrate best-practice engineering, including Agile methodologies, unit testing, refactoring, code reviews, build and deployment processes ·         Improve quality of code base using proper technical practices, CI/CD tools, automated testing, and code quality reviews ·         Familiar with and effectively utilize CM processes/tools ·         Capable of clearly and effectively conveying issues, reports, and other deliverables to engineering and customer counterparts
Preferred Qualifications	·         Experience with continuous development/integration methodologies and tools ·         Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and discuss technical designs ·         Understanding of software and hardware layers of the web application architecture ·         Understanding of maintenance and patching processes for a production web-based application
Example Languages, Tools and Technologies	.NET Core/C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, JavaScript, XML, JSON, Git, SVN, NoSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, Elastic Stack, Unix/Linux, Windows, Jenkins and other CI/CD tools, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure
Experience	Seeking at least five (5) years of experience performing software development activities, with a Bachelor's Degree, or three (3) years of experience with a Master's Degree
