Location: NYC

Duration: 8+ Months

SCOPE OF SERVICES:   

• Code Provider Assignment modules, screens, interfaces; deploy new PA database schema to support the new SESIS 16.x release (includes enhanced ODS SQL Server Database); modifications to support changes to database column definitions, and data values.  
• Develop and code new Contract Management functionality to allow movement of students from one vendor to another whenever a Vendor's contract is terminated/canceled or if new Vendor Contracts are awarded.
• Complete delta logic for all types of data changes between SESIS and PA. 

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 

• At least 8 years of full-time experience as a SQL Database Developer.
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college.
• Experience with Database Administration for MSSQL Server.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
• Experience with SQL Migration across versions.
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
• Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.
• Experience with creating SSIS package.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 

Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server.Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Working experience with SQL 2012 is a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts a plus.Familiarity with SSAS is a plus..
