Title: Streaming Developer (Apache Spark Streaming)

Location: Chicago, IL. 60661

Duration: 4 months

Shift:   M-F 9-5

Note: TN's, GC EAD's, GC's, H4 EAD's and USC's.

 

 Job Description

You will be responsible for implementing, and testing data processing pipelines focusing on streaming data in order to gather and process raw data at scale using frameworks such as Apache Spark.

·       You will also optimize and improve existing features or data processes for performance and stability.

·       You have a higher technical degree from a University or University of Applied Sciences in IT or computer sciences.

·       You have 5+ years' experience with java programming and previous experience with Apache Spark Streaming and Kafka is necessary.

·       You have worked with data bases – SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB) and Spring, JSON, design patterns as well as parallel processing is not new to you.

·       Large Scale ( >50 TB) Crawling & Indexing is also not challenging you.

·       You are familiar working with or eager to learn about ETL, Data Integration processes and technologies, streaming technologies and toolsets from the open source Hadoop community
