Position Title : Build Release Engineer

Locations: Pleasanton CA

Duration: 6-12 months +

Interview Type: F2F

Responsibilities :

• Developing, analyzing, and maintaining tools that support continuous integration, automating the build, test and deploy cycle in an agile development environment 
  
• Selecting, building, and managing the tools to make continuous integration seamless across various development groups 
  
• Supporting and training engineering and QA infrastructure resources in using the continuous integration frameworks 
  
• Understanding the architectural and operational needs of the Blackhawk production environment and helping development teams make good decisions about new development efforts 
  
• Evaluating, selecting and managing 3rdparty tools to help all development groups work better and smarter. 
  
• Taking part in development planning meetings and anticipating the needs of individual development groups.

Desired Skills and Experience :

• 5+ years of experience in a software development environment 
  

• Develop resource with skills on Scripting, AWS deployment, Jenkins.

• Experience with at least one continuous integration system such Hudson, Jenkins 
  
• Experience with a version control system such as GIT or SVN
  
• Experience with Ant, Maven and/or Buildr a plus 
  
• Operational knowledge of Windows, Linux
  
• Experience utilizing virtual and cloud-centric technologies 
  
• Skill with one or more scripting languages (i.e. Ruby, Bash, PERL, Chef)
  
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
