Job Function:

We are looking for a Java Developer with 5+ years' experience in building high-performing, scalable, applications.  This role will work with the Product Owner and Business Services Managers to complete development work for key operational Jira's that have been prioritized by the business. 

 

Specific technical knowledge and experience required:

·         Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms

·         Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns

·         Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)

·         Candidate must have experience and be proficient in java Spring framework

·         Experience with test-driven development

·         Experience with git source control

·         Experience with SOAP and REST calls

·         Excellent database experience - creating tables and SQL queries for data validation

·         Familiar with JIRA

·         Front end/ui experience

·         Nice to have: salesforce exposure

 

Other job responsibilities include:

·         Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills

·         Proficient in English

·         Assists with the design and implementation of operational system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.

·         Exhibits strong business knowledge and builds strong working relationships

·         Performs other duties as assigned.
