Job: Lead Front End Java developer (10 + years)
Duration: 9 months+
Location: Boston, MA

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on design and development experience in commercial environments

Demonstrated experience developing Web applications using AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, Web Services and other related technologies. At least three years of experience in use of these technologies is preferred. Experience with AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.js, Open Social framework is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in modern database technologies like Mongo, Neo4j, Hadoop with MapReduce with exposure to parallel data processing concepts.
Exposure and experience with AWS is a strong plus, specifically familiarity with cloud formation template, elastic search, S3, Scaling up and down in AWS, and Cloud watch logging and monitoring.
Demonstrated knowledge of use of Oracle with Java.
Demonstrated knowledge of common design patterns and their application and mobile technologies.
Experience with, and demonstrated understanding of modern software development (GIT, JIRA, Maven), open source frameworks and testing methodologies.

Must have: NoSQL = Neo4j (ideal), or MongoDB, Redis, InfluxDB, Cassandra
Preferred: AWS = deployment architecture + AWS products like S3, EC2
Preferred front end = modern Javascript like AngularJS, NodeJS, React, Ember (ideal), otherwise must have: basic web front end skills HTML/Javascript

Infrastructure Archs (10-12 yrs. experience) who have hands-on experience with DevOps and Cloud infrastructure.

Skills & Experience required
Ability to create physical & logical design of application server infrastructure
Experience working with multiple application/web servers – Client uses Strongloop Enterprise 6.x for NodeJS BUT any other web servers will work too.
Define Hardening guidelines of application/web server against known/unknown vulnerabilities
Advanced scripting skills to automate jobs (start, stop, recycle, deploy etc.)  - Any scripting language
Troubleshooting and performance tuning
Design Backup and restoration of a production environment
Strong knowledge of operating systems(Linux)  - maintenance and configuration skills
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, router, load balancer
 Exposure to web technologies like application servers and web servers
Technical documentation experience
Capacity planning of infrastructure (Sizing of servers based on traffic volumes)
Experience in managing production support teams
Experience in Service Management with ITIL
Incident and problem management (Production Support)
Strong knowledge of Business continuity and DR planning
Product certification in the area of expertise & ITIL certification
