Job Title:  Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer (Only GC EAD and Citizen)
Location:  Woodlands TX, Remote
Duration: 6 to 12 months

Our Client is seeking Sr. AWS Cloud Engineers to join their team on a long-term contract basis.  Initially working remote, ultimately reporting to Corp. HQ in Woodlands, TX.  Sr. Developers with ability to design, participate in architecture, implement and test solutions for Cloud Environments.  Certified AWS Developer Associate preferred.

Requirements:
• Manage and monitor AWS EMR, EC2, ECS, S3, RDS Aurora (MySQL and PostgreSQL), DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, Lambda, API Gateway.
• Deep product knowledge  including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Solutions
• Hybrid Cloud Solutions
• Encryption and key management principles and design patterns.
• Networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies).
• Automation and DevOps principles.
• Support high volume, high throughput workloads.
• Sound Data Management (data integration, metadata management, data quality, governance) fundamentals.
• Monitoring systems (Cloudwatch, Datadog, Splunk)
• While supported by Architects, must have sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and architecture.
• Web application development, imaging technology.
Strong/Expert proficiency in JavaScript, AWS , NoSQL and microservices.
• 2+ years of working with JS frameworks (Node.js, React/Angular) or 5+ years of Java
• Single-sign-on (SSO) solutions including SAML and OAuth authentication options.
• Advanced  in microservices and scalable systems.
• Consultative tech problem solver & Communicator
