Job Description
Summary:
The candidate needs to have a strong understanding of Open Text's Enterprise Content Management (ECM - Livelink) to include custom development of components for integration of SharePoint and ECM (Livelink). Also needs to have a deep understanding of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0) and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS2007) Architecture and related technologies in the Microsoft stack. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Facilitating client discovery sessions, capturing of business area requirements and delivering business ECM solutions built on the SharePoint platform
Responsible for systems analysis, design, and development of custom ECM (Livelink) / SharePoint solutions using Oscript, LAPI and Java
Analyze and develop system integration acceptance tests
Must be well organized and able to maintain logs of changes and release management
Must follow related Standard Operating Procedures and Work Practices
Author and manage technical documents such as System Requirements Specification, System Configuration, System Design Specification, Release Notes, and Traceability Matrix.
Ability to support & troubleshoot the issues in a quick turn-around time.
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills—specifically, ability to effectively communicate with both technical team and Business area stake holders
Ability to work and contribute in a team environment required
 
Skills/Knowledge Required:

Strong knowledge of Open Text's ECM architecture and optional modules to include, Directory Services, Web Forms, SP/LL Integration, Content Lifecycle Management
Working experience with Livelink object model, SharePoint Object Model and Solution Framework
In-depth hands-on experience developing custom ECM (Livelink) web parts using Open Text's SDK
Demonstrated ability to customize the integration of the SharePoint front-end to a ECM (Livelink) back-end
Hands-on experience creating ECM (Livelink) and SharePoint workflows.
Sound working knowledge in configuring and administering ECM (Livelink) and SharePoint instances in a multi-server and clustered environments
Proven experience in developing custom SharePoint Web Parts and features.
Design and development experience with XML technologies
In depth experience in .NET Framework 3.0, 3.5, Scripting languages (Java Script, VB Script etc) and Visual studio
 
Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

Open Text or Microsoft Certification is a plus
Pharmaceutical applications experience is a plus
 
Prerequisites:

Completed BA/BS degree required, preferably in a Computer Science concentration
6+ years of IT work experience
3+ years of Open Text ECM development and workflow experience
2+ years of experience in customizing Open Text's SharePoint Integration (CLM - Content Lifecycle Management) module
Must have worked on at least one project which involved extensive customization of Livelink web parts and SharePoint/Livelink Integration
3+ years of hands on experience in designing, implementing, customizing, upgrading and migrating SharePoint Portal sites in medium to large server farm environments
