Senior ETL Database Developer

Duration : 3+Months

Looking for an individual who will be responsible for the migration of existing mainframe application databases to a distributed DB2 LUW platform.

Specific Responsibilities:

·         Rapidly understand current DB2 Z database structures and migrate/redesign to distributed platform.

·         Work closely with team members.

·         Interface with various downstream Brokerage Firm Wealth IT teams.

·         Participate when necessary in downstream conversion opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

·         BS Degree and 7 or more years of experience including conversion, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of projects using Informatica, DB2 Z, DB2 LUW, Java, UNIX scripting.

·         5+ years of programming experience in a Mainframe environment.

·         Experience with Mainframe to Distributed platform conversions.

·         Advanced knowledge of  Informatica

·         Team player and proven ability to work under pressure and meet project dates.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with others.

·         Advanced Informatica knowledge is a must

·         Financial business knowledge is a big plus.
