Position: Sr. Sybase/ Oracle DBA

Location: Philadelphia

Rate: $ 320 per day

Job Desciription:

• 8-10 years as a Sybase, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server DBA (at least 2 out of 3)
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle RDBMS versions 9i, 10g and 11g
• In-depth knowledge of Sybase version 12 and 15
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server versions 2005 and 2008
• In-depth knowledge of clustering solutions (Oracle RAC, Veritas clusters, Microsoft clustering, Sybase clustering)
• Proven track record in database architectural design on large projects
• Proven track record designing and supporting large-scale highly available database environments
• Proven track record in designing and supporting Disaster Recovery for large-scale database environments
• Excellent documentation skills, particularly around High Level and detailed design documentation
