Here are some technical expectations:

　

· Oracle Data warehouse concepts like Partitions, Materialized views, Slowly Changing Dimension …

· Oracle Data Warehouse Performance Tuning.

· Experience in Architecture/Design/Implement Oracle Database High Availability.

· Should have handled/supported huge Volume of data ( like 1 Billions of transactions/day) – [ 1 billion is nice to have]

· Oracle Database Geo redundancy deployment or configurations [ nice to have]

· Able to suggest/recommend scalable deployment solutions.

· Should able to do Data Warehouse Architect and Design

· Good understanding of technologies like Java, C++, Perl

· Able to technical guide the team

· Should able to guide other team members

　

Sr. Oracle Developer/DBA

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience with designing, deploying, administering and supporting Oracle Databases (9i and 10g) on Unix Platform

Minimum 3+ years experience with Oracle 11i on Solaris

Must have managed and maintained Oracle Applications application databases on Unix (Single and Multi-Node),

Strong knowledge of Patch management on Oracle 11i

Should have a clear understanding and knowledge of Concurrent managers, internal managers.

Must have clear understanding of Oracle Database refreshes and cloning in Oracle ERP environment.

Must be able to configure and manage Workflow Notification Mailer, Apache servers, Forms servers, Report servers, Load Balancing, Discoverer servers etc.

Minimum 2+ years Experience Supporting SQL Server Databases. Experience in physical database design of SQL Server 2000 and 2005

Practical experience of backup, recovery, Capacity Planning and performance tuning and monitoring.

In-depth knowledge of database internals and data structures.

Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and Java with exposure to Oracle Applications Development support (Oracle Forms, JSP, Reports, and supporting customizations in AOL).

Knowledge of connection pooling, JDBC, database persistence layers, ODBC and Networking

Experience in data modeling tools.

Strong knowledge of Unix Shell Perl or other scripting languages. Working experience on Unix, Linux and Window platform is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of Identity Management, Oracle Internet Directory and Single-sign on preferred

Knowledge of Oracle Workflow is preferred

Experience with Adhoc query tools, Discoverer 10g preferred

Experience with Data Warehousing is desired.
