Description     Role / Responsibilities:

 

Programmer Prog Analyst - Prepares Specifications. Participates in design walk throughs. Constructs applications according to specifications. Tests and documents applications. Responsible for implementing systems into production and for verifying success of each implementation. May be responsible for production support of applications. May be responsible for analysis of user requirements. 1-3 years experience. UML

- V9 experience

- Performance Tuning skills

- Query review for optimization

- Explain plan review skills

- Partitioning

- Primary Key selection

- Partitioning Key selection

- Data Collocation

- Data Clustering

- Add partition

- Data redistribution

- Table Design in DPF

- Indexing

- Column Order

_ Compression

- DPF Database build

- File System considerations

- DB2 Security setup

- Db2 Gov

- QP

- Oral and Written Communication

- Good documentation skills (to document)
