Description:

The Client maintains land records and marriage records, perpetually since 1900. We are in the process of having millions of digital images created from rolls of microfilm. When the digital images are delivered, we need to store them on an enterprise storage system, accessible from multiple client and web applications. The Recorder’s Office is presently using storage on an EMC Clariion SAN. The County also has EMC’s Centerra, and other departments (in the justice community) are using NetApps.

Special Skills:

1. Hands-on experience in designing, installing and maintaining an enterprise storage system.

2. Demonstrated ability to analyze storage systems requirements.

3. Demonstrated experience in managing an information technology project.

Preference will be given to local candidates. Greater weight will be factored for candidates with experience specifically with EMC Clariion and Centerra systems and with NetApps systems, and to candidates with prior experience managing an information technology project for Clark County.

 

TYPICALY AN ETERPRISE STORAGE SYSTEM ARCHITECT WITH EXPERIENCE IN EMC CLARION AND CENTERRA WITH NETAPPS.
