Need: Websphere Commerce Developers

Duration: 3-6 months.
Job Description: Our client is currently seeking an experienced WebSphere Commerce Developer with a strong background in J2EE . Successful candidates should understand the WebSphere Commerce architecture, is able to use the WebSphere Commerce development tools to create and customize WebSphere Commerce V7, is familiar with the WebSphere Commerce API/Object model and underlying DB2 schemas, common WebSphere Commerce programming techniques, and methods for extending WebSphere Commerce's Object model and front-end application interfaces (e.g., Merchandiser). This individual must understand optimization techniques to integrate the WebSphere Application Server model with WebSphere Commerce. This individual must be proficient in Web Service development (e.g., SOAP, REST) and best practices. This individual will move flexibly between different e-commerce project lifecycle stages and should exemplify a "best practices" approach to other developers on our team.
