POSITION: .Net Developer with Content Management server Products Experience , Purchase, NY

 

Duration:6 Months

Job Description

 

Under direct supervision, assists in the analysis, design, programming, and modification of computer programs for software products and/or customer applications. Writes code and completes programming, testing, and debugging of applications. Finalizes forms, procedures, and documentation needed for installation and maintenance of application programs. May interface with marketing and users to add new or custom features to company products. Typically requires a technical degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 4 - 6 years of experience.

Job Description:Global Communications Baseline Developer

Required Qualifications4 year BS Degree - Computer Science or Information Technology

Minimum 5 years of development experience. Strong knowledge and experience in Web 2.0 technologies

 

Required Skills:

Hands on experience with the following technologies:

o .Net

o ASP

o Java Script

o Jquery

o XML

o AJAX

Hands on experience with any CMS products (e.g. Vignette)

Strong database skills in MS SQL, Oracle 10g and firm grasp of PL/SQL

Strong knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies

Digital and Social Media integration is a plus

Experience with ColdFusion and/or Flash development is a plus

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and coordinate and prioritize efforts with peers

Ability to thoroughly test and document all newly written code and/or functionality

Ability to troubleshoot integrated systems and get to root cause analysis quickly

Able to work independently with little supervision

Ability to work alone or in a team environment to accomplish team goals

Possess an aptitude for creative problem solving

Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

Strong understanding of software life cycle development and best practices

Drive for Results: Focused on completing assigned tasks on time

Local candidate required to work onsite in Purchase.
