Need Senior Software Engineer – J2EE/Websphere or WebLogic/JBoss

Location: Englewood, Colorado, (Near Denver, CO)

Duration: 7 Months

Rate: $45/hr (all-inclusive)

 

Knowledge and Skills:

·         Demonstrated ability to effectively document and present technical concepts.

·         Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability with software lifecycle development methodologies such as Rational Unified Process (RUP) and other agile methodologies (e.g., XP, SCRUM) as well as rational tools like ClearCase and clear quest.

·         Extensive knowledge and technical foundation in object oriented analysis and design and design patterns.

·         Extensive knowledge and skills in implementation technologies such as JBoss Platform, WebSphere or WebLogic.

·         Extensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in technical platforms such as J2EE and database technologies such as Oracle.
Extensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in programming languages: Java, scripting, XML, data definition and manipulation (DDL, SQL).

·         Extensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, and Windows.

·         Strong knowledge and skills in web services architecture including web services standards like WSDL, WS-Security and WS-Policy is a plus.

·         Strong experience with Enterprise Service Bus concepts.

·         Strong experience with queuing technologies like IBM WebSphere MQ, JBoss Messaging or ActiveMQ.
Experience with design patterns and UML.

 

Required Experience:

·         Design, implementation, and support of java (minimum 8 years).

·         Design, implementation, and support of J2EE (minimum 6 years).

·         Experience working with service oriented architecture (minimum 3 years).

·         Object-oriented design (minimum 6 years).

·         Experience working with Oracle (minimum 3 years).

 Nice to have:

·         Experience working with Java Web front end technologies like JSF and AJAX.

·         Experience working with hibernate.

·         Experience working with lightweight service bus technologies like Mule, Apache Camel, Apache Service Mix etc.
