• Skills, education, certifications, experience Experienced in developing test strategies and test plans and be able to coordinate testing efforts of all kinds: Integration, System, UAT, Load, Performance, etc.  He or she should also have experience with automated testing tools: HP-Quality Center, HP Test Director, and HP Load Runner.
• Experience with Dimensions CM software, which will be used for version control and defect tracking.
• A strong background, knowledge and experience level in technical testing of highly complex systems and the test software listed above is required.
• Must possess a minimum of five (5) years experience in project work, monitoring and controlling product baselines and the processes supporting release, testing, and security of software applications including change and version control; at least three (3) years of said experience must have been at a high level both technically and in measure of responsibility.
• Must have experience building and managing project plans
• Must have strong experience in the analysis, design, development, installation, implementation, procurement, and/or technical support duties within specified data processing systems, multifunction office automation systems, microcomputer systems, and/or teleprocessing networks
• Must be able to analyze data and situations; identify and solve problems; reason logically and draw valid conclusions; develop effective solutions; apply creative thinking in the design of methods for processing data
• Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others
• Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of audience types using different mechanisms including informal updates, formal presentations, business case documents, and other analytical and technical documents

 

Responsibilities:

 

The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks:

 

• Develop detailed test plans to include Integration, System, Customer Acceptance Test, Load, Performance to ensure that G2G SCO components and interfaces are without flaw and meet requirements.
• Align detailed test planning and execution with overall CalPERS Interface strategy; provide updates as needed due to changes in Interfaces Agreements, Interface Specifications or any other change
• Collaborate with the following support staff to define and document detailed test plans to include test resources requirements, level of effort assessment, test environment requirements, test scripts and scenarios for testing specified Interfaces to the PSR solution:
• CalPERS Infrastructure Staff,
• CalPERS Development Staff,
• CalPERS Business Staff,
• CalPERS ETO Staff, and
•  PSR Project Staff
• Provide test automation for repeatable testing of the Interface where appropriate and feasible
• Work with support staff as listed above to understand the CalPERS infrastructure and applications architecture that support the Interfaces
• Conduct detailed test plan execution, track and document defects; develop and provide test results for review by CalPERS and PSR project stakeholders
• Participate as an active member of the testing team to ensure the solution delivered is testing properly and traceable to the documented requirements
• Support and participate in all other test activities as needed and directed
• Provide detailed technical knowledge transfer to CalPERS ETO staff on  Interface testing; identify and document skills needed to support Interface testing
• Attend and/or facilitate meetings as needed
• Provide weekly status and inform of any issues that require escalation
• Understand the PSR solution and CalPERS technical environments as needed.
