Job Description:
Basically  - Cisco, Cisco firewall, F5 load balancer & Linux.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from accredited college or relevant experience

•Cisco certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, etc)

•             7 or more years of network administration and
engineering experience and at least 2-3 years of technical leadership
experience.

•             Has technical expertise in design, implementation and
support of large-scale, highly available, multi-site networks,
preferably involving consumer-facing web-based applications.

•             Required Technical Skills:

o             Layer-3 switched networking technologies from Cisco,
specifically 6500-series switches, and other related technologies
(VLAN, HSRP, spanning tree, etc)

o             Network Security technologies including Cisco PIX and
FSM firewalls, complex ACL, IDS

o             WAN Routing Protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP

o             Hardware Load Balancing technologies from F5, Cisco, or
similar

o             Common network-based services such as LDAP, DNS, SNMP,
SMTP, etc.

o             Linux operating system, preferably an Enterprise-class
distribution, such as RedHat or SUSE & Perl Scripting exp(MUST)

•             Desired Technical Skills:

o             Web technologies such as Java application servers and
Apache HTTP server

o             Storage Area Networking (SAN) and Network Attached
Storage (NAS)

o             IBM AIX operating system

o             Cybermation ESP Enterprise Job Scheduler

o             Opsware, LCFG and/or other similar configuration and
software management tools

•             Ability to guide others in adaptive problem solving

•             Ability to negotiate with customers and business
partners and influence others to build consensus and achieve customer
objectives

•             Ability to perform a combination of lead and supporting
technical roles in multiple simultaneous projects
