Job Title: Sr. Web developer

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 6 +Months

Rate: $DOE/hr on C2C

MUST have strong Action Script experience in corporate environment.

Web Developer works with the creative & technical Marketing team members to assist in building the corporate web site(s). Working in tandem with the webmaster, writers and graphic artists, the Web Developer will be responsible for all aspects of producing and maintaining HTML/CSS/JavaScript AND Action Script code for our corporate web presence.

1. In conjunction with marketing team provide technical development of ASA's Corporate website
2. Provide support to webmaster both technically and through project management
3. Responsible for technical maintenance of current website keeping to standards as established by the marketing team
4. Facilitate and represent marketing on internal project teams as required.

All other duties as assigned.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or Web-Related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
2. 3+ years hand coding of HTML and 2+ Years JavaScript/DHTML
3. 2+ years working with Cascading Style Sheets
4. Solid experience with relevant applications (e.g. Dreamweaver, Homesite, Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks)
5. Experience with at least one server-side scripting language (ASP, Cold Fusion, .Net, VB/C#, JSP, etc.), web scripting in Cold Fusion is a plus
6. Experience with XML, XSL/XSLT, FLEX or Flash Action Script a plus
7. Familiarity with web standards and CSS-driven layouts

Solid grasp of DNS, cookies, secure certificates, encryption, virtual domains, etc

1. Candidates will be asked to provide URL sites or samples of specific CSS Driven Layouts
2. Web Trend Reporting
3. Sharepoint a plus
4. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
