Sr. Core Java Developer / Chicago, IL / Rate is $50/hr

Start Date: ASAP

Contract to Hire would be nice(not required)

Local to Chicago would also be nice(not required)

US or Green card would be nice(not required)

 

-Ideally 7+ years of experience, but if the person is good its not a factor

-A strong understanding of how garbage collection works and how it impacts application performance is necessary

-Performance tuning, JVM tuning

-Experience in high performance systems

-Concurrent Programming Principles (Multi-threading, deadlocks, implementation principles)

-Profiling

-Unix experience is a must

-CORBA or JMS experience is a plus

-Experience with trading systems a plus
