MIDDLEWARE ARCHITECT

ALPHARETTA, GA

6 months Contract

Rate: DOE

 

Required skills and abilities:

·         WebLogic Suite – Administration, performance tuning

·         Oracle SOA/BPEL

·         Oracle Database 10g, 11g

·         SOA Process Integration Packs (PIPs), AIA foundation

·         Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i or release 12

·         Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIEE)`

·         Informatica

 

Desired

·         iBatis or Hibernate Framework Desired

 

Job Description

·         Successful candidate will be Team Player possessing strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills;

·         Communicates and cooperates well with other disciplines both inside and outside the Corporate Systems organizations; 

·         8 to 10 years of IT experience with broad experience supporting middleware technologies such as Oracle/Bea WebLogic, Oracle Fusion Middle Ware 

·         Proven ability to automate Pre-Production installations, deployments, upgrades, configurations, and other repeatable processes.

·         Experience integrating Middleware solutions with enterprise monitoring and management capabilities (Oracle Enterprise Manager preferred) 

·         Experience supporting Fusion Middle ware (BPEL/SOA/BAM) 

·         Experience planning and coordinating database changes, installation of upgrades, patches and new versions, interacting with Design and other infrastructure teams. 

·         Strong working knowledge of Solaris and Linux 

·         Strong Perl and shell scripting experience. 

·         Systems integration experience in large complex organizations. 

·         Excellent knowledge of software design and implementation. 

·         Willing to support 24/7 production systems with willingness to take on-call support role; willingness to work weekends and afterhours. 

·         Adheres to/helps develop departmental and company application development standards/guidelines. 

·         Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organization skills. 

·         Functions well under tight schedules, responds calmly and productively to high pressure situations, able to communicate effectively with management.
