Job Title :  Java Developer.
Location :  NYC,NY.
Duration :  6+ Months Contract.

Responsibilities:
. Developing scalable applications in a dynamic environment
. Developing or modifying databases as needed to support applications development and continually providing support for internally developed applications
. Developing technical architecture documentation based upon business requirements
. Communicating development status on a regular basis to technology team members
. Deploy applications in Development and Q/A environments
. Investigate and troubleshoot application issues

Requirements:
. Senior level hands-on experience in web development using Java & J2EE skills, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, JSON and Web Services
. Experience writing database stored procedures and queries using Oracle PL/SQL.
. Experience in working with open source tools & solutions
. Experience in Agile practices especially Scrum
. Strong analytical skills
. Ability to work independently on simple / mid-complex modules/issues with minimal supervision
. Ability to manage numerous and changing priorities and meet deadlines
. Ability to operate in a collaborative, team oriented style
. At least a four-year degree in Computer Science, BSEE, MIS or a related field

Skills desired:
. Working knowledge of Linux / Unix environments
. Familiarity with Firebug
. Experience in Sencha Ext JS4
. Experience in Media Industry
