Direct Client Need @ BI - IT Analyst

Hello All,

Need: IT Analyst –BI For 6+ Months @ San Jose, CA Send resumes to bradp@clearthoughtsolutions.com

Task Descriptions –

-       Perform detailed application profiling for BI, Create the necessary analysis documentation BI components

-       Address queries and issues from Offshore, perform the root cause analysis of the critical issues

-       Coordinate with the cross functional teams, Business & QA teams, provide support during the test cycles.

-       Assist Project Manage with the Project Management activities.

-       Develop task level plan, Monitor & control the schedule and deliverables per the plan

-       Prepare & maintain the analysis documentation. (BI App profiling –BO and OBIEE, ETL mapping etc)

-       Assistance in developing project documentation (e.g. document for PLC gates - EC slides, etc)

-       Participate the team meetings & technical discussions, assist the day-to-day operations of the project, including oversight of offshore activities

-       Drive the discussions with boundary and cross functional teams.

-       Provide inputs  for the Transition Strategy

-       Plan activities for test cycles, Guide the stakeholder team during Test Cycles

-       Work with key Cisco stakeholders such as architects, business owners, and cross-functional team PMs

-       Report Risks & issues, Assistance in Change Management

-       Metrics & Reporting, Collect & generate the status update reports

-       Create Knowledge Transition plan, facilitate Knowledge acquisition/transition

-       Perform Unit & Integration testing, document the test cases & results.

Required skills:

-          Strong knowledge of  Oracle Database and Informatica,PL/SQL packages

-          Very good analytical & communication skills

-          QA Skill sets

-          Knowledge of  BI Applications migration

-          Working experience as IT

-          Very good Analytical, coordination & communication skills

-          Excellent Communication, interpersonal skills, Exposure to client interaction.
