Need ETL Datastage Architect

Location: Dublin Ohio.

Duration:6+ Months 

 

 

ROLE:

Integration Architect – Datastage Architect

MUST HAVES:
• Hands on Experience in Datastage design and development.
• Understanding of Enterprise Application Integration and various integration patterns.
• Good communication skill

This is an ETL Integration Architect/Lead role with strong collaboration, coordination and communication skills that demonstrate the ability to present designs and interpret business questions pertaining to design decisions. Requires working knowledge of organization stated technology standards, procedures and methods.

Accountabilities in this role: 
• Primary contact for Integration Service Center customers on engagements
• Responsible for designing Integration Architecture for various enterprise application integration initiatives to enable Our Client's business objectives.
• Responsible for coordinating implementation teams within and outside the Center to implement designed architecture in line with Enterprise guidelines
• Requires experience with multiple development methodologies. 
• Translates and interprets functional requirements documentation for small to medium projects. 
• Performs application integration design utilizing in depth knowledge of structure, features, and facilities of a broad base of integration techniques. 
• Participate in design recommendations with a basic understanding of the Reference Architecture and Application Transition Plan. 
• Engages appropriate Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) teams and partners to implement technology elements of business solutions. 
• Applies knowledge of data management / conversion best practices to lead technical data aspects of solution development. 
• Communicates technology issues in business-friendly language to gain support for recommendations. 
• Actively participates in solution deployment planning, coordination, execution, training and post implementation support. 

Qualifications: 
• Requires a keen understanding of a broad variety of Integration techniques, patterns, tools and methodologies and the appropriate application of such to efficiently integrate a wide variety of Enterprise Applications.
• Ability to work independently, to communicate well and to coordinate with numerous teams and people to accomplish goals.
• Performs assessments and listens to internal/external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise.
• Minimum 2-3 years of rigorous Integration Architecture and design experience is MUST with either Strong ETL technology (IBM DataStage, Quality Stage), DataWarehousing Integration skills, OR MQ, Message Broker, WebSphere Adapter, J2ee Web Services OR SAP PI, Basis Integration skills
• An understanding of Service definition and orchestration. Exposure to SOA is a plus.
• Experience with Supply Chain domain is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years experience in enterprise integration.
• 5+ years in IT roles related to application development, security, systems integration, data conversion and support. 
• Experience with Application and Systems Integration, tools, and admin capabilities 
• An understanding of Datawarehousing. Exposure to IBM Infosphere Product Suite is a plus.
• Experience with Supply Chain is a plus 
• Experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage Integration Tools is strongly desired 
• Excellent analytical & communications skills
