Immediate Need a  Cobol Mainframe Developer -Phoenix,AZ

Title:           Cobol Mainframe Developer.

Location:     Phoenix,AZ

Duration:     -6 months Contract. 

 

Must Haves:

Mainframe Developer with functional knowledge of Electric Utility Customer Services System primarily Billing, Bill Print, Credit and Collections, Budgets, Revenue & Statistics, Meter Reading, Orders and Financials areas

Complete Description:

Candidate must have a strong technical background in trouble shooting / debugging COBOL and DB2 SQL. Candidate must have an expert understanding of Technical architecture of Customer Services System and must be well versed with various architectural options to connect mainframe database from distributed environments and should have a good exposure to newer technologies like Data warehousing, COM TI interfaces, et al. Candidate must be able to play several roles such as Designer, Lead developer, Technical Lead, System Test Co-ordinator to small and medium sized project and must have demonstrated ability to come up with innovative ideas to solve complex business problems in Customer service systems.

Behavior Characteristics:

Good written and oral communication skills. Good troubleshooting skills. Flexible, Adaptable, Self Managed. Experience working on project teams with defined schedules.
