Title: Sr .NET 3.5, C#, SQL Server and JSON developer

 

Contract Duration: 6+ months

Location: Oakbrook, Illinois (Face to face interview required)

Rate: DOE

 

Minimum Requirements:

The keys to the hire are strong .NET framework 3.5, C#, SQL Server and JSON.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

•           Competency and Experience with:

•           Developing Smart Client applications with Microsoft .NET 3.5 and C#

•           Developing scalable and high performance components and shared business services using XML, XSD, web services and messaging (IBM WebSphere MQ or other major messaging technologies)

•           .net remoting

•           JSON (Javascript Object Notation). 

•           Database programming with SQL Server 2005, 2008 and/or other major relational databases

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

•           BS in Computer Science or related discipline

•           5-7 years of experience in related position

Description:

Senior Software Consultant is a long-term development role working on an enterprise development transformational project at a rapidly growing organization.

 

Responsibilities:

1.         Work with Product Management to analyze and fully understand business requirements,

2.         Develop functional specifications/design documents to describe how to implement the business requirements,

a.         Data Model

b.         Object Model (interfaces, classes and services)

c.         Interaction/Flow diagrams

3.         Implement the design based on the functional specifications/design documents using:

a.         Microsoft .NET framework v3.5, C# language

b.         Visual Studio,

c.         SQL Server 2005 and 2008

4.         Work with other members of Product Development team to:

a.         Unit test the new code,

b.         Work with PM and QA team to run regression/integration tests,

c.         Work with PM to notify all interested teams about release schedule,

d.         Partner with release engineering team to package and deploy the fix
