SAP PP / SAP APO Business Process Lead / Location: Woodlands, TX / Start Date: 10/31/2011 / Duration: 12 months / Rate + Expenses
• Client is a current SAP customer (ECC 6.0) and global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated chemicals.
• Process manufacturing as well as discrete manufacturing knowledge are required.
• Looking for Business Process Lead in PP / APO (Plan to Produce).
• This is someone who came from an SAP PP background and has industry experience as well, and can guide the client on moving from 400 legacy systems to SAP.
• Need to understand end to end process, from planning (APO and MPS) to MRP and production orders (BI exposure is needed as well).
• This is not a hands on role, but someone who has a deep understanding so they can provide rationalization on what applications would remain and what would flip to SAP (process of eliminating legacy systems).
• This also involves assisting with information for the business to building "mini-business cases" to support their findings in Blueprint (i.e. how much to maintain legacy vs. cost to migrate to SAP).
• Ideally, someone who has FICO lead experience, best practices knowledge, and executive presence
• They will be facilitating the client through a series of process map workshops.
• SAP Years of Experience: 8+ yrs
• Communication needs to be excellent and able to drive workshops.
• Must really understand best practices.
