PROFILE:
Skills: Java, Object-oriented JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and HTML
Position Requirements:
· Java experience of 4 years
· Requires 4+ year(s) in presentation layer development using XHTML, experience with cross browser development and browser/platform compatibility issues.
· Also requires significant experience in and understanding of AJAX frameworks, Object-oriented JavaScript and JS frameworks (like jQuery YUI, Dojo), CSS, Flash, SOA services, WSDL, XHTML and HTML
· Reviewing specifications created by UI Architects and Web Designers in order to create wire-frames, layouts, skinning and mock ups to meet specs.
· Also requires good experience with Java 1.4 or higher.
· BS or higher degree required. Degree in CS or related field preferred.
· 4+ years experience in web development, and good analytical and problem solving skills.
· Nice to have some experience in XML, XLST and XSD.
· Should have some experience with content management integration with international scope.
· Experience with Rational ClearCase, Rational ClearQuest, and IBM Websphere/Tomcat and Eclipse is a plus.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
