Position: Data Modeler
Location: Philly - PA
Duration: 6 months
face to face Required after a phone interview
- This is for the GCM initiative
- Both Physical and Logical Data Modeling experience is necessary.
- 8-10 years of hands on data modeling experience. Must be hands on.
- Expertise with data architecture would be a good to have but is not required
- Experience supporting Batch, ETL (Datastage), services etc. in a DW environment
- ETL experience should be supporting ETL teams with data modeling not doing functional ETL work.
- Must have expertise with both operational and transactional databases
- The tool they are using is Erwin
- Data is in DB2 and SQL Server. Are open to whatever database this person wants to use (Oracle, Teradata etc) but they must be comfortable working with DB2 and SQL Server as well.
- They have had this position open internally for a while and did phone screens with several candidates who were not strong enough. Pain was that they were too heavy with data analysis and did not have enough true data modeling specific expertise.
