Position 1 :  Java/XML Consultant / Location:  Dallas or Boston locations

Duration: 2-4 months to start

Start Date: ASAP

Pay rate:  all inclusive

Client-Server experience with SyncShare (file sharing service) and MySQL database

-          hyperSQL database structures

-          Java and XML programming

Consultant will create a data migration tool and migrate data from a legacy database to a new data store.

 

Position 2 :  Java UI developer / Austin, TX  / 12+ months / Rate: All Inclusive

Work will be mainly building out the backend services to provide the functionality for the HOL subscription site. Working on many features of the Client's Online product, and some ETL work.

The back-end software stack is Linux, Oracle/MySQL, Ibatis ORM, Java EE, Spring IOC and WebMVC running in JBoss.

Front end is comprised of Velocity and JQuery.

This client is an agile shop, with two-week iterations and frequent releases.

Extensive unit and integration testing is required, with continuous integration, plus QA review and acceptance testing.

Technical Skills:

·         Java

·         Spring

·         Oracle

·         Search Engines - FAST

·         Web Services/Restful Services

·         View technologies – Velocity, JQuery, CSS, HTML, JS

·         JBoss

·         EJB

·         Testing – Junit, EasyMock, Mockito

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

·         Team player

·         Agile background a plus (not required)

·         Test Driven Development

·         Proponent of Continuous Integration

·         Ownership - Take opportunities and run with them

·         Emphasizes simple/high performing designs
