Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications and other productivity tools
• Working understanding of application architecture and networks
• In-depth knowledge of the data interfaces between production, development, and quality assurance (QA) systems
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies
• Advanced understanding of ERP, CRM, Licensing, Web Applications and/or BI systems.
• Ability to develop complex user acceptance test data, scripts, and plans
• Ability to develop system test data, scripts, and plans
• Long term planning horizon and "strategic" mindset
• Demonstrate estimation, budgeting, negotiation, and resource management abilities
• Ability to create process flow diagrams
• Working knowledge of standard process modeling notations (familiarity with BPMN is a plus)
• Working knowledge of database schemas, query, and reporting tools
Day to day responsibilities
• Lead the facilitation of team and business user meetings for the License Architecture Modernization Project
• Communicate and translate requirements effectively between functional areas and supporting departments.
• Document business and system use cases
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external teams in order to convey the strategic value of IT solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations to process owners
• Effectively translate business requirements into system requirements
• Accurately determine task duration and dependencies for assignments.
• Communicate status updates to IT managers on a regular basis.
• Help the test team by validating the test scripts match the business requirements
• Apply project life cycle methodology across assigned processes and systems and encourage its consistent application among team members.
• Maintain documentation in support of regulatory controls and perform periodic reviews of same.
• Independently complete project documentation and work with the business to gain approval.
• Review other team members' documentation and provide feedback.
