Title: SAP P2P Techno-Functional Consultant

Location:  Houston, TX

Duration:  24 months

 

All positions will plan, design, develop, implement, and support SAP and business process improvements, in support of organizational objectives and regulatory compliance requirements. These individuals will be counted on to review business requirements and create functional designs, as well as coordinate with Developers and Vendors on technical designs and testing of complex break fixes, upgrades, enhancements, and new business initiatives. Coordinate activities between users, IT development staff and third party consultants and contractors, while keeping management informed of progress, benefits, achievements and risks.  Provide tactical input on direction for solutions. Performs analysis of trouble tickets reported by users and develops appropriate solutions.

 

Must have business analysis experience; the ability to analyze business requirements and processes, and design processes and solutions.

Must have successful organizational, written, oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently as required and keep senior management adequately informed.

Strong knowledge of systems and business processes.  Experience in the preparation of formal management proposal documents (presentation of product findings/ recommendations). 

Assists the Business with solution delivery by helping customers establish requirements.

Manage the Level 4 Helpdesk queue.

All positions are subject to < 5% travel.

5 - 7 years of functional experience.

Business analysis experience; the ability to analyze business requirements and processes, and design processes and solutions.

Must have successful organizational, written, oral communication skills. Ability to work independently as required and keep senior management adequately informed. 

Strong knowledge of systems and automating business processes.  Experience in the preparation of formal management proposal documents (presentation of product findings/ recommendations).  Assists the Business with solution delivery by helping customers establish requirements.

Experience with the following; SAP MM Module and Accounts Payable.

Implementing SAP MM with strong emphasis on Treasury, Banking, Procurement Management and Inventory Handling.

Strong integration experience of MM with PS, FI, CO, SD.

SAP Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Conversions. 

Procurement, AP, and Treasury business process background. 

Progressively responsible experience in systems analysis. 

Knowledge of Treasury systems and business processes.

Experience with Financial Close.  

Experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction and Public Sector industries with emphasis on supply chain management
