Our client is looking for the position of Senior ASP.NET Web Developer to build the front-end for the company's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product offering.
The ideal person for this role will have a passion for shipping elegant, innovative, and responsive web interfaces. This position demands strong technical leadership, ability to collaborate with a globally distributed product team, and the guts and vision to produce something really fabulous.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Management and Design team to understand business requirements and implement front-end functionality
Lead design, implementation, and unit testing for the front-end of a multi-tiered web portal using cross browser compatible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript technologies
Provide expert technical guidance on UI development options and best practices to fellow team members and stakeholders
Technical Skills/Experience Requirements
5+ years professional experience developing web UIs for complex and dynamic data driven applications
Must possess strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Must possess experience with ASP.NET development. ASP.NET MVC 3 and C#
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, and AJAX development techniques
Experience with Agile methodology and Test Driven Development
Experience with any of WCF, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio 2010 or Team Foundation Server 2010 a plus
A solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues, web standards and best practices
Experience with mobile and Responsive Web Design (RWD) a plus
Experience authoring and maintaining a production website a plus
Education/Soft Skills Requirements
BA/BS in computer science or related field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desire to keep improving your skills and willingness to try something new
Excellent time management skills and ability to take responsibility for deliverables
Ability to work in a start-up environment with a fast-paced iterative development process
