Duties:
To work closely with Trading, Research, and Portfolio Management to develop and support our next generation quantitative trading analytics software, using leading-edge technologies. This position requires a solid programming and technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills and a basic understanding of (or an enthusiasm for learning) the financial markets and associated industry terminology. The candidate should have solid hands-on software development skills with experience implementing and supporting enterprise applications. Experience with Test Driven Development and Agile methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test and document a new Java-based trading system, utilizing existing R codebase.
Communicate effectively with users (traders, portfolio managers), developers and fellow technologists.
