Job title:  Teradata Architect 
Location: East Hartford, Connecticut
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $DOE/hr

Note: US Citizen, Green Card, or H1B

SUMMARY  

·      Knowledge of Teradata's solutions - Teradata RDBMS, Teradata hardware platforms, Teradata Financial Management, Teradata Master Data Management, Teradata CRM, Data Mart consolidation, Active Data Warehouse, Dual Active and related solution offerings.

·      Experienced in producing high level and detailed solution designs, including multi-environment configurations including DR options

·      Demonstrating ability to relate business problems to the underlying data and the ability of Data Warehouse technology to solve the business problems

·      Understanding, documenting and articulating the customer s current data warehouse/data mart architecture. This includes a complete inventory of the customer s data warehouses and datamarts as well as their respective business functions

·      Understanding competitive products such as Oracle, IBM, Netezza, HP, etc.

·      Understanding mainframe and client/server computing environments

·      Full life cycle experience (requirements gathering through production deployment) in all aspects of BI/DW (ETL, data modeling, analytics and reporting) 
Strong problem investigation skills
