Primary Responsibilities:

·The position requires 5+ years as a SQL developer writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures

·Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering, delivering information architecture and click-through prototypes

·Develop architectural approach to meet key business objectives

·Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate application architectures

·Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions

·Ability to troubleshoot technical problems with beta and new release software, and research possible solutions using the internet and other available resources

·Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications using established artifacts and business requirements

·Collaborative development with cross departmental teams

·Decision-making ; Project estimates; Alternative design solutions

·Design and implement interoperable applications in collaboration environment

·Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment

·Ability to solve complex production and non-production issues

Technical Requirements:

·5+ years' experience with SQL Server 2005/2008

·5+ years Reporting Services 2005/2008 experience

·Excellent T-SQL and ability to write stored procedures, UDF's and triggers, debugging and performance tuning stored procedures

·Hands-on experience creating, maintaining and supporting Reporting Services

·Advance knowledge of SQL Analytics including SSRS, SSAS

·Desired experience with Microsoft Power Pivot and Excel Services

·Desired experience with 3^rd party business intelligence tools, i.e. Microstrategy, Business Objects, or others
