Java Programmer/Analyst       During the development life cycle the required deliverables to be completed by the programmer/analyst will include, but not be limited to, the following:         Program:  Functionality developed according to design specifications using JAVA             Unit Test:  Creation and execution of test scripts, using jUnit, in order to verify that each programmed module will function properly when it is inserted into the system.         System Test:  Creation and execution of system tests to prove that the system is meeting the defined business requirements.         The Java programmer/analyst must have a stable work history that includes 4 years of development experience in a corporate environment.  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical training equivalent is required.  Technical skills required are proficiency in MS Office and other Windows based applications.  Refer to attachment B Java Programmer/Analyst Skill Set Matrix for additional skills.  The candidate should possess strong problem solving, object oriented design, and development skills.         2.      Project Assumptions         It should be assumed that OPERS will provide on-site work space, and basic administrative support for contracted vendor employees. Project will utilize existing development, test and production environments. Development work under this RFP including production support of any and all changes made is expected to run through June 30, 2013 but may extend through September 30, 2013.   Must have demonstrated proficiency in the following competencies:    Java Required J2EE Required JSP Required Servlet Required EJB Required JDBC Required OO Analysis & Design Required HTML Required Javascript Required XML Required RDBMS/SQL Required Integrated Development Environment Required Version Control Required Websphere Studio Application Developer Required Spring Required Spring web flow Required Hibernate Required Java Server Faces Desired JUnit Desired Crystal Reports Desired Mainframe experience with running Websphere on zOS Desired Software Development Lifecycle Preferred
