Project Description:
Conversion of application inventory
Technical Environment:
Cobol, Sybase, C++, PowerBuilder
IMPORTANT:
· Candidates presented must be W2 employees of your firm or one of
the firms within your vendor network.
· All inclusive rate - resource must be local to Newport Beach CA area or
willing to relocate at their own cost
· strong possibility of extension
· Please prepare your candidate for multiple interview cycles including
an in person interview with our client
6 to 8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL technologies and Unix
· Candidate should have good understanding of SDLC
· Excellent knowledge of Oracle database, procedures, functions, packages,
triggers, exception handing, and Unix scripting
· Strong SQL background in handling complex queries using SQL Developer and TOAD / PLSQL Developer
· Should have worked on Oracle 11gR2, using the latest features including analytical functions
· Should have knowledge of oracle architecture, data model and design
· Should have excellent debugging skills to understand existing triggers,
functions, procedures and packages
· Should have knowledge of configuration management tool, like SVN, Clear case, etc.
· Should have worked in a client facing role and have good communication skills
· Must be able to talk with client to understand and clarify functional specification
· Must possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Must be strong in performance tuning and optimization
· Financial industry background is highly preferred
