SharePoint Developer (with .Net development experience)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana for full

(Alternative location is Houston, TX with heavy travel)

We are looking for a developer that can create some workflow automation, create site, create task lists that can be assigned to people, create document storage libraries. Previous experience working at an Oil and Gas company in the Upstream division is extremely preferred and helpful.

Microsoft certifications helpful

Soft Skills:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to work with a variety of stakeholders and cross functional teams. Excellent English communication skills required.
• Able to work in a virtual and global environment (ability to work with a team that is globally dispersed)
• Will develop service-oriented and scientific software that runs 24 x 7 (mission-critical environment).
• Has the ability to understand software design, integration, UI, and quality.
• Will work with both managed and unmanaged codebases, and focus on UI and implementation.
• Experience with team designs, builds, and deployment of applications for use in process automation, control, and optimization.

Skills required
• SharePoint 2010 design and development including workflow automation, site creation, task list creation
Knowledge of .Net 3.5 platform
• Object-Oriented Design & UML
• C# /ASP.Net (3 Years)
• WPF
• XAML
• Knowledge of design patterns, but specifically the MVVM design pattern (nice to have)
• SQL Server (3 years)
• Application Integration and Communication
• Silverlight/AJAX
• TFS 2010 (1 year) nice to have
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodology
• Familiar with n-Tier distributed architecture:
• Data Quality management

Education: BS in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or other equivalent technical degree
Microsoft Certifications a plus
SharePoint certification a plus
