Position: JDE Developer

Location: West chester, PA

Duration: 3 - 6 months

Locals preferred

Industry Experience - Nice to have in Medical device and/or life science

 

 

Job Description

Responsible for investigation, design and programming of business systems' problems through the implementation of efficient, cost effective solutions.

Client utilizing: JDE v7.3

 

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

§         Provide technical support for systems programming and analysis in OS/400, RPG/400, CLP and SQL.

§         Complete knowledge of JDE World coding standards and technologies.

§         Analyze systems problems, determine solutions, and take appropriate action steps to implement solutions.

§         Produce innovative software solutions to meet business needs.

§         Write detail specifications for new systems or existing system modifications.

§         Work with departments and end users to provide appropriate reporting systems.

§         Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.

§         Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.

§         Other duties as assigned

§         DePuy Synthes is in the compliance world, both FDA and SOX. Prior experience in this type of environment is required

§         Work across application landscape, Sales Order, Manufacturing, Distribution, some Finance

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

§         B.A., B.S. or equivalent technical training.

§         At least 5 years JDEdwards JDE World programming experience, strong RPG and SQL

§         Must be self-motivated and able to learn quickly and apply knowledge.

§         Ability to work under pressure to meet departmental and user deadlines.

§         Ability to handle multiple projects at once.

§         Organizational, project management, and leadership skills to lead others through system installations and modifications.

§         Available to work off hours as required.

§         Minimum of five years professional level system work in a medium to large company.

§         Experience with Project Management, Software Testing, Implementation and Change Management a plus.
