Job Title: Drupal Programmer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: Start 10/2 end 12/31

Software Developer

Middleware, Python, Java, Django, Java RESTful 

Provide technical support for code review and enforcement of Drupal coding and Comcast Engineering standards and best practices with internal/external vendor teams. Maintenance of existing and development of new custom features for large CMS platform. Assist with deployments and release cycles. Work with engineering and Product Managers to advise on platform architecture, scalability and scoping for new product capability. Contribution to Drupal core and contributed modules as needed. Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communications skills.

 

Requirements:

• Proven 2+ years professional experience in Drupal engineering role

• Experience with Drupal 8/OOP/Symfony/PHP

• Experience with large-scale/enterprise platforms with an understanding of decoupled architectures

• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of Acquia build tools (BLT) and cloud deployments

• Self-starter with strong problem solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced work environment

• Basic working knowledge of LAMP server configuration

• Familiarity with ReactNative/React.js and mobile platforms a plus

• Experience with Acquia Site Factory and/or Content Hub/Lift a plus

• Knowledge of healthcare industry a plus

• Caching strategies/best practices-VarnishA+ a plus

• Must be able to work in Philadelphia

 

POSITION COMMENTS

Must have experience with Drupal 8 experience.

-Must have OO programming experience.

-Must be familiar w/ Security practices and RESTful APIs.

-Automated testing experience a plus.
