Job Title: Onsite Support

Location: Tucson, AZ

Duration: 6-12 Months

Locals: Preferred as there is a F2F.

Site Operations Specialist is accountable for provision of support for existing IT services delivered to the Production Unit.  The Site Operations Specialist provides 'break-fix' services and assists users in the use of IT facilities which support their business processes.  The Specialist Site Operations also assists in the execution and transition of support of Information Systems projects for North America and the Global Technology Team.

Qualification

·         Prefer a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems, Information Systems, or similar degree programs

·         Will accept a University Degree in other concentrations with 5 years of role relevant IT operations experience, or significant experience in a similar support role

 

Prefer one or more of the following professional certifications

·         Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in relevant Operating System(s)

·         Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA)

·         Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)

·         Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP)

Experience & Technical Competencies

·         Installation, configuration and maintenance of relevant Servers and Desktop and Laptop PCs

·         Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols

·         Knowledge of relevant Microsoft operating systems

·     Knowledge of all main Microsoft .NET applications, including

o    Microsoft SQL Server

o    Microsoft Internet Information Server

·         Knowledge of all relevant applications/software

·         Good written and verbal communication skills.

·         Good personal and interpersonal skills.

Languages

·         Mandatory – English

·         Beneficial -- Spanish
